About PALS

The Princeton Academy of Language and Science provides online classes to teach a variety of languages, writing, social studies, and science to American students and to students in other countries. Founded in 2012, the school is located near Princeton, New Jersey with the goal of providing exceptional extracurricular online classes for that extra edge that will help students succeed.

We currently offer courses such as:

Kindergarten English reading
Grade 3 to 6 English reading and writing
Grade 3 to 6 English writing
Grade 7 to 9 English intensive reading and creative writing geared toward SAT preparation
World history and AP World and AP U.S. history
College-level academic writing
Basic and intermediate science review for middle-school students

Our Directors

Steven Eisenberg

President

With over 30 years of teaching experience of a wide variety of science and English subjects to students of all ages, Mr. Eisenberg brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to education.

Muling Fan

Director of Recruitment for the Greater Bay Area of China

Ms. Fan has been working in the field of international education for many years. She earned her Master of Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and her Master of Finance from Renmin University of China.

She is dedicated to helping students in the GBA to access the best international education available, and to achieving their goals in life.

Vice President and Director of Online Teaching

With over 32 years of teaching experience of languages in China and America, Dr. Du leads our team in meeting the educational needs of our students.

Aaron G.

Having tutored English for over 3 years, Aaron is very passionate about teaching young children English through class engagement and activities in a fun and exciting way.

Jackie W.

Having degrees in Elementary Education and Literacy Studies, Jackie has worked full time as a second grade teacher but she has experience working with a variety of age levels from Kindergarten through sixth grade.

Krista K.

Krista has a master's in Early Childhood Education, and been a director of education and teacher of ESL and for young students as well as high school and college students.

Dr. Karolina K.

Karolina earned her B.A. in Spanish and also studied French, German, Italian, and Russian. Her Ed.D. is in Curriculum and Instruction and has two additional Master's degrees. She developed curricula and taught all levels of Spanish.

Maria A.

Maria is an experienced teacher of introductory as well as honors Spanish for students in grades 6 through 12. She is also an ESL teacher and college instructor with a master's in TESOL.

Taja B.

As a college instructor and STEM readiness teacher, Taja has a B.S. in Secondary Education-Social Studies, as well as a master's in history and teaches history for PALS.

Luisa L.

Luisa teaches seven and eight-year-olds in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and creative writing, and she loves to play drawing and performing games with kids.

Kalia B.

With a BA in Geography and certifications in TESOL and writing tutoring, Kalia loves reading, and is excited to bring her passion to the classroom. She also enjoys traveling and learning about different languages and cultures.

Amaris G.

Amaris has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She has 7 years of teaching experience, and 5 years experience teaching ESL. She has an advanced TESOL and TEFL certificate. Amaris has a passion for teaching children.

Makenna F.

With Bachelor degrees in English Writing and Rhetoric, Makenna has spent most of her life interacting with children. Her interest in teaching stems from a combination of her experience caring for children and her love for writing and language.

Megan B.

Megan is an adventure seeking tenacious teacher of 5 years. She graduated with my Master of Arts and teaching in 2017 from Columbia International University. She believes that quality education is the ticket to experiencing more of our beautiful vibrant universe!

Eva D.

Eva has worked in education for over 20 years. She has a BA in Literature and Writing and has been teaching English language learners since 2008. She loves helping students to better express their unique perspectives while motivating them through her own enthusiasm for learning.

Dr. Denisha S.

Denisha is an aspiring educator, tutor, and mentor always striving to advance through a variety of teaching experiences. Having a medical degree, she is also working toward a Ph.D. Her teaching philosophy is to exhibit a compassionate style with creativity, fun, and focus on constant growth, seeing the inherent limitless potential in students.

Chantel C.

Chantel's B.S. is in math, and enjoys science, but also adores reading and writing. She loves students who have that yearning to learn, and has been a tutor for several years.

Laurie W.

Laurie has taught a variety of courses in the past thirty years as a public educator - literature, creative writing, public speaking, and theater. She has an MS in secondary education as well as gifted education certification for all age levels.

Kaileigh B.

Kaileigh has degrees in Elementary Education and German, and a master’s in English Speakers of Other Languages. She enjoys sharing her love of learning through engaging lessons, and motivating students to continually seek opportunities to learn about the world around them.

Max

Max is a senior at Georgetown University, majoring in Business and Global Affairs and minoring in Computer Science. He has extensive teaching experience, having taught at an English immersion summer camp in Hangzhou, China, for two summers, started his own robotics education nonprofit that has reached thousands of students and assisted several college-level computer science courses. Max also recently spent a semester abroad in Taiwan, during which he extensively taught English in informal contexts.
