Eve
Eve, a current student at the University of Georgia, studies English and Classics on a scholarship, focusing on Creative Writing. Hailing from London, UK, and Shanghai, China, her international background enriches her unique approach to applications. Skilled in crafting compelling narratives and college essays, she tailors her writing style to suit individual students. She is passionate about a wide range of humanities, from literature to history to art, lending depth to any humanity-centered application.
Having navigated the US college application process as a former Chinese international student from a Shanghai-based international high school, Eve offers firsthand insights. Skilled in guiding Chinese international students, she has expertise in numerous AP subjects and nearly perfect TOEFL scores (118/120). With experience in tutoring and honing English language skills, she aids students in their essay writing, and AP studies, strategizing extracurriculars within international high school confines and leveraging unique Chinese experiences to bolster their applications.
Rose
Rose has worked as an academic consultant since 2021. She has advisory experience across multiple subject areas, including algebra, Spanish, German, writing, economics, and finance recruiting. She specializes in tailoring strategies to students’ unique academic and professional aspirations. After navigating the cultural integration process and language immersion program in Germany, Rose developed a passion for helping students pursue bilingual and cross-cultural education. During her own college admissions process, Rose offered services as a college essay peer editor and helped her classmates get into Johns Hopkins University, Washington University in St. Louis, and more. In high school, she also won her school’s writing and public speaking competition by presenting her 20-minute research thesis to a faculty panel and peer audience. In the past few years, she has advised Georgetown students seeking prestigious internships in the U.S. Senate and across Wall Street, assisted Spanish-speaking students entering the D.C. school system as a bilingual tutor, and worked with a high school student to create a long-term admissions strategy. Looking forward, Rose is excited to finish her degree in International Political Economy from Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, begin her career in international finance as a Summer Analyst in the Fixed Income division at Jefferies, and help other highly motivated students achieve their own goals.
Shweta
Shweta, a sophomore at The George Washington University studying Public Health, worked as an instructor at Kumon during her high school years, aiding students in math and English. Currently, she is a teacher with the DC Public School system, working to address the COVID-19 learning gap. Through her various experiences assisting children in acquiring essential skills, she has gained a unique perspective. Shweta understands the importance of tailoring curriculum, activities, and mindset to help her students achieve their goals. Proficient in writing and rhetoric, brainstorming, college essays, and creating customized college plans, Shweta is dedicated to supporting her students' success.
Sandhya
Sandhya is a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in writing seminars. Her interests include pursuing computational medicine and the medical device industry.
Sandhya has been tutoring students of all ages since 9th grade. She began in Mathnasium, where she strengthened students’ foundational math skills and instilled them with a passion for the subject. She also creates individualized lesson plans and presentations for the SAT and AP exams.
